Trip to Florence, Emma's First Tea Party, and Two Teeth

Emma and I spent several days in Florence last week while Michael was in Hilton Head for The Heritage. He was down there for work. I know - poor Michael, He has such a tough job. It was so nice being in Florence for longer then a night. I have spent that much time in Florence since before our wedding. It made me miss living in Florence. While we were there, my mom had planned a Springtime Tea Party. My mom was dying to show off Emma. I enjoyed seeing friends and family that I had not seen in awhile. We also got to visit with my grandparents, my cousin who was in town visiting also, and my great-aunt who was also in town. On top of that, Emma has her two bottom teeth now. She keeps sticking her tongue out to feel them. Below are some pictures from our adventure to Florence. I wish we had more pics from the tea party.

Seriously, 5 Months Old Already!!!!

So I know everyone tells you how quickly your child will grow up but I seriously did not think it was going to be this fast. It is really hard to believe that Emma is now 5 months old. She has changed so much in the past month. She has rolled over from her back to her front, has cut her first tooth, has been eating rice cerael like a champ, and she is laughing out loud. She thinks we are the funniest people around. Emma and I have been attending several mom's groups in the area. We have been staying busy with playdates and walks with other moms. Thanks to Emma's cool older friend, Libby, for letting us borrow her exercauser. It has definitley helped me to get a shower in the morning.
